You will not be sorry…

I have recently had  the good pleasure of working  together with Jaime Espiritu.
Jaime produced a Pure Works video, which educates  and  informs people  about our mission and goals.

Through  the process  of interviewing  people,  editing, and other production  logistics, I found Jaime  to be courteous, professional  and  focused.

Between  his knowledge  and concern  for us and my experience  with him,  it would make me come back to him again and again in the  future.

Furthermore,  the project  results were exceptional.  The video will be used in multiple media settings  from YouTube and Facebook  to a CD.

I wish  to convince  you as you consider Mr. Espiritu’s  services  to decide  in his favor.

You will not be sorry and  I am certain you will enjoy a long-term, mutually  beneficial relationship.
lf you have  any questions,  please  do not hesitate  to contact me at your earliest convenience.

Sincerely,

Rich  Young

Pure Works helps 3rd world countries

PureWorksPic

Pure Works is a non-profit organization serving 3rd world countries.  Rich Young had a problem of showing in what his organization is about.  His websites tell great stories but didn’t really connect with his audience.

I helped  tell him tell one cohesive story why Pure Works is a wonderful organization.  A heart to heart connection with the audience was needed to enlist more volunteers and donations.  I helped him put the videos on YouTube and his various Facebook accounts around the world.

The entire series can be watched here: Pure Works Channel

Can we touch your heart?

I had a great need to expose or share my ministry program with others at Abundant Life Christian Fellowship (ALCF) in Mounatain View, CA.   However, there was no venue available for that to take place.  Currently, at  ALCF, we have videos of upcoming events, but we didn’t have a venue to showcase ministry presentations or ministry overview that really highlights the mission and purpose of my ministry.

The one result of Jaime’s work is that he’s gotten people catch the vision of the ministry.  And although they don’t have a passion for sports, they have a passion for kids, and they have a passion to see – they understand how sports is used as a vehicle to reach people.  And so it inspired others to get involved on one of those different places.

Working with Jaime was very easy.  Many people don’t have the video or technical skills to put together a video.  However, I was able to share with Jaime my dream of what I visually saw, and he was able to interpret that to video.  He was able to hear my vision and was able to communicate it in video so that I can see it played out right before me.  And another way of saying that you was able to tell the story that I couldn’t find the words to say.

His videos communicates the mission and purpose in a very relevant way.  It inspires people to get involved.  I think it captivates the audience and inspires them to get involved.  You’re able to – after you show the video give the person next steps.  My things is when you’re asking people to get involved in ministry, you have to touch their heart before you can ask for their hand.  And that’s what the video does.

Currently, at ALCF, the way we’re showing the videos, we’re asking for people’s hands.  But we’re not touching their hearts.  And his videos actually allows people’s hearts to be touched.  They see the problem.  They understand the need.  And then they see this video is showing you how you can get involved.  And then once people see that, they say, “You know what, I can make a difference.  I can do that.  I can get involved and do that.”  That’s what’s so powerful about it.

I’ve had people tell me that the video touched their heart.  And some of them, it made them angry.  And some of them, it made them feel guilty because they recognize that the need is there and they have – at one time or so, they have felt the nudge to get involved, but they just didn’t do it.  And now when they see it and their heart is touched, they realize, “I should have done something.”

And I think video is key to that.  I think the video is going to touch people in a way that a two-minute presentation on stage could never do.

One of the great things in working with Jaime is that he doesn’t  try to take someone’s message and conveyhis own.  He listens intently, and he tries to get to the heart of what it is that they want to communicate.  Jaime uses his gift to communicate that other person’s vision or picture.  He really listens…really listens, and he makes himself available to serve the people who want to do the video.

Touch hearts. Ask for a hand.

InspireU_3x5

Inspire U is a non-profit sports program for youth at Abundant Life Christian Fellowship in Mountain View, Ca.  The program had a difficult time getting volunteer coaches and staff to participate.  Emanuel Swan is the program director. He wanted to increase the awareness of his program so more people can volunteer their time and effort to make the program a success.

Emanuel had an idea.  He wanted to show the deadly statistics of what young people are doing these days.  At the first showing of this video, 12 adult volunteers signed up. 50+ kids enrolled in the upcoming Summer 2010 basketball league.
Emanuel’s vision is to use this video link to send to the parents, ministry leaders, and members of ALCF to inform them of the upcoming basketball league and ask of their support in recruiting youth and by purchasing a DVD to help sponsor scholarships for underserved families who may not be able to afford registration.
